Dr. Yijuan (Lucy) Lu joined in Texas State University in 2008. She has conducted research in multimedia and computer vision for many years.  Her research interests include Multimedia, Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Data Mining. Current research in her lab focus on exploring intelligent algorithms that perform visual perception and understanding tasks such as object recognition, image annotation, image understanding and image retrieval etc, that give rise to semantically meaningful interpretations of multimedia information (image and video). These information would be very useful in multimedia information retrieval, image, video understanding and other applications.
